Volt Mobilty's car usage policy aims to enable smooth and efficient services. Please take a moment to review the following:
- Airport & Railway Transfers:- For pick-ups at airports or railway stations, we allow a maximum waiting time of 30 minutes. If the waiting time exceeds this, it will be considered a no-show. Consequently, the vehicle will be withdrawn, and applicable no-show charges will apply.
- For pick-ups from other locations, a maximum waiting time of 30 minutes is permitted, after which the no-show policy will be in effect.
- Outstation Travel: - Please be aware that one-way rentals are not offered for outstation travel, and the calculation of kilometers will commence from the city of origin.
- * For outstation travel exceeding 300 kilometers in a single day, additional kilometer charges will be applicable based on the specific car model.
- * In cases where travel extends beyond 24 hours, we provide a complimentary extension of one hour. Any usage beyond this one-hour extension will result in a full day's rental charge, calculated daily according to the car model.
- Local/Within City Travel:- Minimum Billing for all rentals will be 4hours/40kms. The next rate Package of 8hours/80kms will apply after 20 minutes over the basic package.
Cancellation policy for your reference:
- 1. No cancellation fee will be applied if the booking is cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time.
- 2. Similarly, no cancellation fee will be applied if the booking is cancelled between 4 and 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time.
- 3. A cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the booking charges will be applicable if the booking is cancelled within 0 to 4 hours of the scheduled rental start time.
- 4. A cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the booking charges will also be applicable in the case of a no-show.
- To cancel your booking, please send a cancellation request to reservations@volt.net.in.
Parking, Tolls, and Interstate Taxes
- Please be aware that all parking fees, toll charges, and interstate taxes incurred during the service are the responsibility of the customer. Additionally, any usage beyond the initially agreed-upon time or distance will be charged at the applicable hourly and/or per-kilometre rates.
Fuel
- For chauffeur-driven car services, the quoted price includes a specified mileage allowance. Any travel exceeding this pre-defined limit will be subject to additional charges.
Cleanliness
- To preserve the condition of our vehicles, please note that the transportation of pets, goods, or any items that could damage the upholstery or any part of the vehicle's interior or exterior is not permitted. In the event of such damage, the user will be responsible for the actual costs of repair or cleaning.
Bookings Updation
- Any revised bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded. To confirm your changes, a nominal additional payment of INR 1 will be required, after which your original booking will be cancelled.
- If the revised booking amount is higher than your initial booking, the outstanding balance must be paid upfront. Conversely, if the revised amount is lower, the difference will be refunded to you after the completion of your booking period.
- For chauffeur-driven services, you can modify the following details: Booking Period, Reporting Address, City, Car, and Service Type (Airport Transfer, Within City, Outstation, or One-Way Transfer).
Refund Policy
- Volt India will process your refund within 14 working days as per our cancellation and refund policy.
